In the whirlwind of life, it’s easy to get lost in the fog again, and lose touch with the most important practice of your day- gratitude.
I’m not joking, it really is the most important, transformative aspect of your day. And it’s the most reliable tool you have, it will never, ever let you down.
I remembered that this morning. I’ve been riding uncertain emotions for about a week, I’ve had a strange frequency in my mind and body that didn’t feel positive in any way. I realise now that it was a subtle hint to grab hold of my gratitude once again as my hands were getting loose on the reins.
I was getting caught up in pettiness and hypothetical worries that, instead of passing through without a trace, were leaving reside of negativity like a slug’s trail. Gross.
So I took my advice and wrote down my 10 blessings for today, you can read instructions to my practice here.
The almost instantaneous relief is just unbelievable really. I got tingles as I wrote them this morning and remembered how truly blessed my life is.
I really can’t recommend it highly enough.
