Hello my friends
The wonderful It’s Her Journey nominated me for this challenge- thanks a bunch for the nomination lovely lady.
The rules are as follows:
1. Thank the person who has nominated you for the challenge.
2. Post 3 quotes (1 for each day) for 3 days consecutively.
3. Nominate three more bloggers for the same challenge each day.
– Roald Dahl.
Although this quote is from a children’s story, it enchants my imagination every single time I see it. It’s actually the quote I write on the first page of every journal I keep. It reminds me that life is in fact magical; the only limitations we have in this life are those in which we impose on ourselves.
Amazing sequences of events are brushed aside as ‘coincidences’.
Positive personal achievements are labelled as ‘good luck’.
Truly magnificent breakthroughs are labelled as ‘scientific’ to take away the airy fairiness of the magic of it all. Who’s to say science isn’t magical, eh?
For those who say it’s not, how do you explain electricity then? Or gravity? Or the fact that earth is a perfect little floating gem, that circles around a gigantic ball of flame at the exact right distance to not be incinerated into star dust, and on top of all that there are these things we call trees that literally turn thin air into food?! And don’t even get me started on the moon…
Anyway, my eyes are somewhat open to the wonders of the universe; I’m like a newborn baby on the enlightenment scale- whereas someone like Osho is a wise ol’ transcendental O.AP with a free bus pass to elevated consciousness. Regardless of my primitive status on the scale , every day I see and experience absolute magic in my life. There’s no other word for it. And when you realise that you can influence the magic, that’s when the fun really starts. I didn’t get my Hogwarts letter when I was 11, but I definitely got my wake up call when I was 25.
All of it is magic… but like the quote says… if you don’t believe it, you’ll never find it.
